Maintenance Technician

ob Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our operational sites. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.

Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Respond promptly to emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. Assist in inventory management of maintenance supplies and tools to support ongoing operations.

Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with internal clients regarding repair status and maintenance schedules. Experience Proven service technician experience with appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.

Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in commercial or industrial settings. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology including air conditioning systems and kitchen equipment. Demonstrated ability to operate equipment repair tools safely and effectively. Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and problem-solving under pressure. Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Prior experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical systems repair is highly desirable.
