Trailer Technician

R.E. Garrison Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to maintain and repair refrigerated and dry van trailers in our Cullman, AL fleet. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on trailer bodies, braking systems, suspensions, doors, electrical, and refrigeration support equipment. You'll follow safety and compliance standards, document all work, and keep equipment road-ready. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on refrigerated and dry van trailers
• Inspect and repair trailer braking, suspension, and wheel-end systems
• Service and repair trailer doors, floors, roofs, and structural components
• Troubleshoot and repair trailer electrical and lighting systems
• Support maintenance of refrigeration-related trailer components
• Complete preventive maintenance according to company schedules
• Document all work performed and parts used in maintenance systems
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company maintenance standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with operations and drivers to prioritize trailer repairs
