Position: Carpenter X 4

Recruit Easy are looking for an experienced Carpenter X 4 to work for our client based in Cullompton, Devon.

Duration: On going
Start Date: 25-05-2026
Pay Rate: £18.00 - £23.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!

Job Role s

Installing stud walls and timber frame partitions to specification
Fitting door linings, frames, and basic openings ready for second fix
Carrying out floor joist installation and structural timber work
Constructing timber frameworks, including walls and ceilings
Boarding works including ply and plasterboard fixing where required
Reading and working from technical drawings and site plans
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within site deadlines
Working alongside other trades to keep the build progressing efficiently
Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with site health and safety

Requirements

CSCS Card (preferred)
Proven experience in 1st fix carpentry on commercial sites
Own tools and PPE
Good knowledge of site health and safety
Reliable, hard-working, and able to work unsupervised
