Playroom Attendant

PATH Recreation & Fitness Center is seeking energetic, responsible candidates for part-time Playroom Attendant positions. This role is perfect for individuals who love working with children and thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirement: This position requires year-round availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
. Applicants must be able to meet this scheduling need.

The ideal candidate will have previous childcare experience and current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (preferred). If not currently certified, training will be provided.

You will be actively engaged with children ranging from six weeks to 12 years old
, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. We’re looking for someone with excellent multi-tasking abilities, a high level of patience, confidence in enforcing rules, and the ability to manage conflict while carrying out instructions in a positive and professional manner.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment where children can learn, explore, and play.
• Ensure all areas remain secure and properly toddler- and baby-proofed at all times.
• Supervise and actively engage children through age-appropriate activities, play, and interaction.
• Maintain order and enforce playroom policies in a calm, consistent, and respectful manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with parents, guardians, members, and guests.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to any incidents or concerns.
• Build positive relationships that create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience for every family.
