Playroom Attendant

PATH Recreation & Fitness Center is seeking energetic, responsible candidates for part-time Playroom Attendant positions. This role is perfect for individuals who love working with children and thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirement:
This position requires year-round availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants must be able to meet this scheduling need.

The ideal candidate will have previous childcare experience and current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (preferred). If not currently certified, training will be provided.

You will be actively engaged with children ranging from six weeks to 12 years old, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. We're looking for someone with excellent multi-tasking abilities, a high level of patience, confidence in enforcing rules, and the ability to manage conflict while carrying out instructions in a positive and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment where children can learn, explore, and play.
• Ensure all areas remain secure and properly toddler- and baby-proofed at all times.
• Supervise and actively engage children through age-appropriate activities, play, and interaction.
• Maintain order and enforce playroom policies in a calm, consistent, and respectful manner.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with parents, guardians, members, and guests.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to any incidents or concerns.
• Build positive relationships that create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience for every family.
