Event Specialist​/Driver

We are a fast‑paced, fun, growing company that provides shaved ice and coffee h day offers a unique opportunity to serve customers at schools, sports, festivals, corporate events, weddings, and other local gatherings.

Event Specialist/Drivers must be 21 or older, have flexible schedules, and focus on meeting customer needs. Duties include taking customer orders, operating equipment to prepare drinks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.

• Represent the Kona Ice brand by delivering a memorable experience and outstanding customer service
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to company driving and texting policy
• Drive safely and transport the trucks from warehouse to event on time, with all inventory necessary, and greet customers courteously
• Comply with hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines
• Take orders, process payment, and ensure transactions are complete with speed and accuracy, and to customer satisfaction
• Responsible for truck preparation, event set up/take down, and closing procedures, including inventory and cash counts; complete beginning‑ and end‑of‑shift prepping and stocking
• Perform basic cleaning of trucks/warehouse
• Maintain and contribute to a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment; work well with other team members and provide ongoing feedback to improve the workplace
• Read, count money, and accurately complete documentation
• Communicate maintenance and inventory needs to appropriate staff
• Other duties as assigned
• $18.00 starting hourly pay + tips
• Free Kona Ice, Travelin' Tom's coffee, snacks and drinks while working

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a great driving record
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  
  Must be able to pass a background check and driving check
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be available most Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays during our busy season (April‑November); weekday availability is a plus
• Large vehicle/food truck experience or towing skills a plus
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Minimum high school diploma
