- Work alongside a team of technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and security systems
- Support the Facilities Manager by assisting with on-site decisions, helping distribute tasks, and participating in team meetings
- Follow technical safety guidelines and ensure compliance with operational standards
- Assist in managing vendor activities and project execution, including upgrades and repairs
- Contribute to reporting and analysis, track consumption data, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in process improvement efforts and support Facilities Excellence initiatives
- Provide technical support for complex issues and share knowledge to help develop junior team members
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with proven team leadership
- Strong electrical background, ideally with data center experience
- Hands‑on expertise with UPS systems, generators, switch gear, and mechanical systems (chillers, HVAC, downflow units)
- Familiarity with physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection)
- Experience in project management and vendor coordination
- Desire to take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion
- Ability to lead with confidence, communicate effectively, and make decisions under pressure
The estimated salary range for this position in Virginia is $73,073.00 USD annually MINIMUM to $ USD annually MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
