Position Overview

As a Utility Operator, you will maintain the sanitary condition of the facility and fill in for 1 to 2 operating positions. Deliver results in first‑time situations, inspire others, and work to earn trust every day.

Your Role

Maintain facility cleanliness and safety, and support plant operations by covering 1–2 positions. Core responsibilities include:

Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds
Specialized cleaning tasks such as bin cleanings, sifter, filter sock changes
Special duties assigned by management
Basic process maintenance
Cross‑train in at least one other operator job
Follow all safety, sanitation, and corporate policies
Ascend and descend stairs and climb ladders (step and extension)
Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves, respiratory protection, goggles, etc.)
Follow verbal and written instructions (English)
Communicate with peers and supervisors (English)

Essential Skills and Experience

Willingness and ability to work additional hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
Accountability and teamwork ability

Good to Have

Basic computer knowledge and skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Work outdoors in the elements

Team members must be clean shaven for respirator use.
