Job SummaryThe CNC Operator is responsible for producing machined parts by setup and operation of a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine; maintaining Aerospace quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Essential Functions- Loading machine programs.
- Set up tools, load tools and materials in machine.
- Usage and manipulation of basic M & G codes.
- Proper part handling, cleaning and inspection.
- Proper application and removal of stabilizing aids.
- Calculate and adjust for depth tolerances.
- Completion of all applicable paperwork and documentation.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Working with various hand tools and chemicals.
- Reaching, bending, climbing.
- Visually inspecting parts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to accuracy and precision.
- Knowledge of industry safety standards.
- Previous forklift certification and experience a plus.
- Open availability, including weekends.
- Must agree to pre-employment screenings.
- Able to interpret blueprints.
- Understanding of basic mathematics and use of standard measuring tools.
- Ability to work well with others and take direction.
- Must be self‑motivated and willing to take initiative.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends (per company needs).
- Hourly, non-exempt.
- Starting rate $18.00/hr commensurate with experience.
