Position Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (Part‑time) – Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH), Culpeper, VA.

PT:
Every other Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

• Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 – $37.00.
• $5,000 sign‑on bonus + retention bonus paid at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year for new hires.

• Provide compassionate medical and nursing support to youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co‑occurring behavioral health needs.
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Conduct nursing assessments.
• Educate and empower individuals regarding their mental and physical health.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person‑centered care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all nursing services and observations.
• Uphold compliance with all regulatory and clinical care standards to ensure the highest quality of service.

• Current valid, unrestricted Licensure as a Practical Nurse in Virginia.
• Knowledge of mental health and I/DD systems of care preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with crisis prevention and intervention services preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments.
