This role involves delivering high‑standard patient care under the UVA Health ASPIRE values. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility and accountability for the management and provision of care to patients supervised by them, complying with UVA Health policies and scope of practice. The RN leads the healthcare team by building personalized relationships with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health.

The RN assists clinic leaders and medical providers with unique patient needs, serves as a clinical resource for team members, models leadership qualities, and helps manage day‑to‑day operations. The RN may order or assist with ordering of clinical supplies, linens, pharmaceuticals, and maintain required inventories and documentation. Services are provided to all age populations with an understanding of functional and developmental stages.
