What You'll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal guidelines while handling security-related situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Possess a CPO certification.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
