As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Schedule:- Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology and data infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
- Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and incident updates.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
