Regional Mobility Specialist

Join the Regional Transportation Collaborative (RTC) Team! The Rappahannock‑Rapidan Regional Commission (RRRC) is seeking local applicants to serve as subject‑matter experts in regional mobility and transportation solutions. These positions play a key role in supporting access to transportation for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and the broader community.

Successful candidates will bring knowledge and/or experience in working with non‑profits, government programs, human service organizations, or older adult services. These roles require a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to service. Applicants should have very good technical/computer skills as well as be resourceful, independent, and accountable, with the ability to research, interpret, and share accurate information with both clients and community partners.

• Support regional mobility and transportation options through the RTC Mobility Center.
• Collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and service providers to expand access to transportation.
• Work primarily remote/hybrid, within a standard schedule, with some flexibility.
• Contribute to regional initiatives that improve quality of life and community livability.

• Experience in non‑profit, government, or community service environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Passion for serving individuals and strengthening community partnerships.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Full‑time

$50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
