The Manager, Technical Accounting is responsible for consulting with and advising business units on accounting matters, policies, internal controls, and corporate governance. This role supports the preparation and retention of financial statement information and disclosures, collaborates with various departments on due diligence and transaction-related accounting, and contributes to projects enhancing the Finance organization.

• Serve as a technical accounting resource on complex matters including revenue recognition, mergers and acquisitions, business combinations, film accounting, and lease accounting.
• Support senior team members with accounting research, financial modeling, contract reviews, and technical accounting analyses.
• Prepare technical accounting documentation such as accounting memoranda, white papers, and FAQs to support IFRS accounting positions.
• Collaborate with business experts to understand and develop accounting practices aligned with IFRS and company policies.
• Research and support implementation of new IFRS standards and accounting policies in coordination with finance and auditors.
• Support accounting training delivery across Finance teams to promote consistent application of policies.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement reviews and external audit activities.
• Define, document, and implement future-state accounting processes in accordance with IFRS and project timelines.
• Manage multiple work streams independently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate on special projects including due diligence and transaction-related initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant accounting experience in public accounting or related industry.
• Experience conducting technical accounting research and documenting conclusions.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS; IFRS experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing complex transactions, contracts, or accounting arrangements preferred.
