Controller, Accounting, Financial Controller

This position is onsite in Culver City, CA.

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, is seeking a Controller - Funds & SPVs in Culver City, CA.

Lead fund and SPV accounting and finance, with a path to manage companies broader finance function and a three-person internal team.

• Own accounting and financial reporting for funds, SPVs and investment entities.
• Manage monthly and quarterly closes, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Oversee fund-administrator output and reconcile it to internal books and investment data.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, investor allocations and investment-level cash activity.
• Maintain accounting for loans, preferred equity, notes, warehouse facilities and related entities.
• Coordinate audits, tax work, treasury and liquidity reporting.
• Build scalable controls and processes and grow into leadership of the finance department.

• Senior fund-accounting experience in private credit, private equity, real estate funds or alternatives.
• Strong fund and SPV accounting capabilities.
• Hands-on operator with the capacity to manage a growing department.
• CPA helpful; relevant operating experience more important.

The base salary range is $140,000–$200,000.
