Position: Director, B2B Solutions and Sales Growth

This position serves as a high-impact, initiative-focused role designed to bridge the gap between Marketing, Sales, and Product. You are the "connector" who ensures that our B2B solutions are commercially valued and positioned for "fame" in the market.

This is a full-funnel role where you will assess the buyer journey to identify where sales and content support are most needed to accelerate the pipeline. The focus is on impact over process and results over perfection, ensuring every effort delivers COMMERCIAL results and grows the B2B pipeline from the top to drive more business and from the bottom to win more opportunities.

Sales

Engineering & Commercial Acceleration (80%)
  • Technical Closer: Act as the primary technical partner in high-stakes client meetings and proposal developments to ensure our B2B solutions are bulletproof with clients.
  • Active Prospecting: Build and leverage a network of B2B contacts through cold outreach and industry engagement in concert with our sales team, demonstrating SME authority rather than just "selling." You will find opportunities in key clients we are missing or make connections between our service lines where new opportunities for cross-selling will add client value.
  • The Trusted Expert: Serve as a respected partner with the gravitas to guide clients to trust Ipsos and guide sales teams to new techniques and strategies that assist them in driving wins.
  • Solution Architecture: Translate client objectives regarding price, timing, and quality into actionable guidelines for sample operations to develop the right blend of sample for each specific project.
  • Proposal support: Tailor proposal templates and sales collateral to ensure credibility is built through both technical competency and value-driven results.
  • Sector Mastery: You will speak in client presentations and write content about complex B2B topics—like Cloud Computing or Ad Ops platforms—with clarity and nuance, removing jargon to focus on high-level positioning and client benefits so you are seen as an expert in our clients’ industry sectors. You will gather your expertise through your past experience as well as developing deep relationships with internal subject matter experts.
  • Pricing to Win: Review complex pricing and help sellers adjust margins to "price to win" while maintaining the quality standards our clients deserve.
  • Metrics Mastery: You will grow Ipsos B2B sales as a partner to our sales team and track KPIs such as win rate, proposal generation, product adoption, margin and overall revenue which you are expected to accelerate.
Strategic Content Development (20%)
  • Content with an Edge: Develop sales materials and lead magnets that proactively overcome objections and highlight competitor corner cutting. This will be achieved by analyzing wins and losses to develop activities and solutions that systematically increase our win rates.
  • Fame Generation: Create original thought leadership that fills gaps in the market and delivers real value to our clients and prospects, so they are likely to take meetings and seek out Ipsos for B2B expertise.
  • SME Authority: Be THE internal and external expert on B2B data quality, from the nuances of Expert Networks to B2B panel health. You will help internal and external stakeholders understand the market issues with B2B sample and guide clients to solutions that deliver the trusted quality Ipsos is known for.
  • Innovation Champion: You will understand and champion new B2B research approaches, including synthetic data and AI-moderated qualitative interviews, while educating teams on mitigating B2B fraud.
WHAT YOU BRING TO

THE ROLE:
  • Expertise in B2B Market Research: You understand the differences in B2B vs. B2C research projects, from sample selection to buyer personas, to single purchase strategies vs. multi-stakeholder buying committees. People commonly say you are a B2B research expert.
