Project Architect or Designer

Compensation$75,000 - $90,000 annually
Job DetailsThis is a full‑time hybrid role for a Project Architect or Designer based in Los Angeles, CA, (T, W, Th in‑office). This role will manage project design and delivery, coordinate with clients and consultants, produce submittals, and ensure projects meet design, budget, and schedule criteria. Projects span from planning and programming, to ground‑up new construction, to gallery interiors and exhibition design across multiple projects at different phases of development.
The role will also participate in site visits (including international travel), review construction documentation, and lead project teams to deliver high‑quality design outcomes. Position is based in Los Angeles (Culver City).
- 3+ years of work experience in an architecture firm.
- Experience in Gallery Exhibition a plus.
- Certification as a licensed professional architect is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work both collaboratively and independently to complete tasks.
- Strong design portfolio with clear design sensibilities.
- Strong research, problem‑solving and production skills.
- Excellent 3‑D modeling skills, including Rhino, Revit knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent 3‑D rendering skills, V‑Ray, Enscape and Lumion.
- Good communication & organizational skills.
- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Collections analysis and documentation, space planning and studies, gallery design, exhibition design.
- Preparing presentations and reports, drawings and 3D visualizations as required by the project.
- Produce drawing packages for both presentation and construction.
