This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.

We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to join a dynamic Budget Management team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated analytical thinker who excels at building strong cross‑functional relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in fast‑paced, evolving environments where business needs and processes are continuously changing.

• 5-7 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Budgeting
• Passion for financial planning and analysis with a strong foundation in accruals, P&Ls, forecasting, and fiscal planning
• Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical, auditing, and data reconciliation skills
• Familiar with financial reporting processes, forecasting models, and cross‑functional budget management
• Skilled in collaborating with cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders across varying levels
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, highly matrixed environments; experience supporting business, creative, and/or marketing organizations preferred

In this role, you will own budgets and stakeholder relationships across the organization while driving key financial processes.

You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams to forecast, manage, and report on budgets and actual spend across multiple lines of business. This includes analyzing large datasets to evaluate quarterly P&L actuals, identifying under‑ or over‑spend variances, and presenting clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

You will also audit and reconcile large datasets, track invoices against forecasted spend and purchase order balances, troubleshoot issues related to budgets and invoicing, and implement process improvements that support multiple teams with competing priorities. Additionally, you will document and train internal and partner teams on established processes, while handling ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed to support overall financial operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Budgeting
• Background supporting business, creative, or marketing organizations preferred

• The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $45.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
