Compensation

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, purchase order management, and financial operations across multiple business functions. This role will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, Legal, Business Affairs, and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate financial planning, cost management, and process execution.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, supporting procurement activities, and coordinating cross-functional business operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex financial challenges, improving operational processes, and delivering accurate analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across multiple business functions and initiatives
  • Track budget performance, analyze actuals versus forecasts, and identify variances requiring attention
  • Develop financial reporting and cost analysis deliverables that support informed business decisions
  • Prepare timely financial reports and operational analyses to ensure accuracy and visibility into business performance
  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, budget issues, and financial process exceptions
  • Create presentations, reporting materials, and executive-ready summaries for leadership stakeholders
Purchase Orders, Invoicing & Procurement Support
  • Manage purchase order creation, tracking, and execution activities in support of ongoing business operations
  • Review invoices and financial documentation to ensure compliance with budget and procurement requirements
  • Support vendor onboarding, setup activities, and ongoing partnerships in collaboration with Procurement teams
Contract & Cost Management
  • Assist with contract review processes and financial evaluations in partnership with Finance and Procurement stakeholders
  • Perform cost analysis to support vendor engagements and operational spending decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, efficiency, and cost management processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Support
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Business Affairs, and other internal stakeholders to support operational initiatives
  • Coordinate across internal and external partners to ensure efficient execution of financial processes
  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required
  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial operations, or related functions
  • Experience supporting purchase order management, invoicing processes, and financial reporting within complex organizations

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial planning processes, and cost reporting
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data, monitor spending, and identify budget variances
  • Experience supporting purchase order creation, invoicing workflows, and procurement-related activities
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost analysis, and operational finance functions
  • Ability to establish effective partnerships across Finance, Legal, Procurement, and business teams
  • Experience preparing presentations and communicating financial insights to senior leadership
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Experience supporting financial operations within the entertainment, media, or content production industry
  • Experience working closely with Procurement, Business Affairs, Legal, and Finance organizations
  • Background supporting large-scale budgets across multiple programs, events, or business initiatives
  • Experience developing executive-level financial presentations and reporting materials
  • Passion for financial excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement
