About the Opportunity
Lead OR, PACU, ASC, GI Lab, and SPD operations in a dynamic, multi-specialty hospital focused on clinical excellence and innovation. This high-visibility role is perfect for a seasoned Perioperative Director (or ambitious Manager ready to advance) who excels at driving culture change, standardizing processes, and fostering collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational and clinical leadership for OR, PACU, ASC, GI Lab, and SPD.
Standardize policies, processes, and perioperative workflows across departments.
Build a culture of teamwork, transparency, and equitable collaboration between nursing, physicians, and support teams.
Partner with infection prevention and environmental services for compliance with AORN, ASHRAE, CMS, and National Patient Safety Goals.
Oversee budgets, staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization for efficiency and ROI.
Collaborate with physicians to optimize block utilization, robot use, and pre-surgical readiness (H&P, labs, patient prep).
Mentor managers and staff to promote accountability, innovation, and shared ownership.
Qualifications
Bachelor s in Nursing required;
Master s preferred.
Current RN license, BLS, and relevant fire safety certification.
5+ years of recent perioperative leadership in an acute hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of AORN standards, CMS compliance, and regulatory readiness.
Proven ability to lead diverse surgical teams through culture change and process improvement.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Team player with credibility to partner with surgeons and executives.
