As a Prime Video team member, you’ll have end‑to‑end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state‑of‑the‑art experiences for our customers. You will work on fast‑paced, challenging, and varied projects, experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. In addition, as a highly experienced and seasoned science leader, you will apply state‑of‑the‑art generative AI, graphics, audio, and computer vision research to video‑centric digital media, lead a team of applied scientists, define research roadmaps, and hire and develop talent to meet evolving customer needs.

• 10+ years of applied research experience
• 5+ years of management experience with scientists and/or machine learning engineers
• 5+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
• PhD, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
• Knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval, and Analytics
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or a related language

• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers, especially involving Generative AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
• Experience with 2D/3D animation and world models
