- Partner with UX leadership in key project decision‑making, including requirements gathering, scheduling, design roadmap management, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and reviews.
- Program manage key design projects.
- Lead design delivery by managing team backlogs and removing obstacles, coordinating reviews with stakeholders and leadership, communicating team status, and empowering designers to own their timelines.
- Act as a bridge between UX, engineering, and product management teams and other cross‑functional team members, connecting various groups and ensuring interdependencies are understood and planned for.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance customer needs versus business goals and technical constraints.
- Implement durable and repeatable processes and tools to help prioritize, plan, and manage multiple parallel projects across the team and our stakeholders.
- Standardize, socialize, and continuously improve our user‑centered design process.
- Enable creative solutions by leveraging design acumen, high judgment, and knowledge of business and customer experience best practices.
- Define success metrics and be responsible for ensuring their implementation for all work.
- Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our team.
- Navigate and prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
Prime Video’s vision is to be the world’s most loved premium video service, and in doing so to become the default entertainment hub, globally for customers. The PV User Experience team’s role is to reduce complexity and design fun, easy‑to‑use apps, where customers love to watch our content.
Basic Qualifications- 6+ years of design program management experience.
- Experience understanding the needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions.
- Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (agile to waterfall).
The base salary range for this position is listed below: USA, WA, SEATTLE - - USD annually.
Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSU). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
