The ideal candidate combines deep hands‑on experience with AI/ML with a strong understanding of how content is made in Hollywood from development through post‑production and distribution, serving as the bridge between AWS AI capabilities and the real‑world challenges facing studios, VFX houses, and content creators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver proof‑of‑concept implementations, reference architectures, and technical content tailored to studio audiences.
  • Partner with AWS service teams to shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Account Solutions Architects and Account Managers to identify and progress solutions that deliver value to customers.
  • Present at industry events and create thought leadership content.
  • Contribute to internal enablement and upskilling peers on M&E workflow solutions.
  • Engage with partner ISVs and SIs in building solutions.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 2+ years of practical machine learning experience.
  • Knowledge of video production crews, live streaming technologies, studio workflows, edit and post‑production techniques, production calendars, and staffing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years working directly with studios, post‑production facilities, VFX companies, or media technology vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to present complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and creative executives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Technology Certification (e.g., Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud Dev Ops Engineering).
  • Direct experience with large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, or multimodal foundation models in production settings.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, Sage Maker, or similar managed AI/ML platforms.
  • Experience with media‑specific AI use cases: automated QC, content analysis, synthetic media generation, AI‑assisted editing, intelligent metadata tagging, virtual production.
  • Understanding of media standards and formats.
  • Track record of thought leadership – published papers, conference talks, patents, or open‑source contributions.
