Prime Video is a first‑stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios‑produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add‑on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+.
All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.
We are hiring an experienced Principal Product Manager to run our media pipeline. In this role, you will own the services that allow us to receive video and audio content from our partners, review it to ensure that it meets our high quality bar, and process it so it's available to customers. You will deploy state‑of‑the‑art AI tools that enable us to inspect every title and identify any issues that can affect our customers.
This role is critical to ensuring high quality of content for customers.

We are looking for a data‑savvy, strategic, and analytical Principal Product Manager to work on the content licensing technology of our supply chain. In this cross‑functional role you will help define and execute the strategy for products and services that drive defect and on‑time delivery of high quality video content to customers.
You will collaborate with data science, engineering, operations, other product managers, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our platform capabilities.
- Define and execute toward the long‑term strategy for the digital supply chain.
- Work closely with data science and engineering teams to prioritize and deliver the roadmap.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence to analyze business trends and make data‑backed decisions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including other product managers, partner management, and leadership to influence and drive the long‑term strategy.
- Create business requirements, develop solutions, and socialize them across functions and teams.
- Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
This position may be located in Seattle or Los Angeles.
SalaryBase salary range: $ – $ annually (Seattle, WA) and $ – $ annually (Los Angeles, CA).

BasicQualifications
- 2+ years of end‑to‑end product delivery experience.
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience technical product management.
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
