Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, reshapes mesh network technology for mission‑critical applications on the ground, in the air and  battle‑proven Stream Caster family of MANET radios and proprietary MN‑MIMO waveform provide vital communications links for defense, law enforcement and public safety agencies worldwide, even in the toughest operational environments. Job Description

Silvus is seeking a Shipping Lead who will report to the Shipping Manager. The successful individual will manage outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, paperwork, handling inventory, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 1:30 PM at Silvus Technologies’ warehouse in Culver City, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Train and mentor shipping team members to foster a productive and compliant work environment.
  • Coordinate with the Shipping Supervisor on daily shipping operations to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and compliance with shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling and international export requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Shipping Supervisor to identify, implement, and monitor process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance workflow.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean shipping area, ensuring compliance with all company safety policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor warehouse supplies and equipment to ensure full stock and proper working order.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using systems and software such as Fed Ex, UPS, and DHL.
  • Experience shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations.
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a fast‑paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license with no traffic violations.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
  • Employment contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Working Conditions
  • Office environment.
  • May involve bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting to access lower shelves.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.
Compensation

$29 - $31 per hour.
