Veterinary Technician – Emergency, Day shift
Location:
Culver City, CA
Sign On Bonus available for Registered Veterinary Technicians. Overnight / Weekend Differential: $3 - $5 per hour in addition to base pay.

Our technicians encounter a variety of cases while working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country.

Role Responsibilities- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
- Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state’s Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
- Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
- RVT preferred.
- 3 years veterinary assisting/technician experience.
- Desire to offer superior patient care.
- Positive work attitude.

- Non Credentialed Assistants $21/hr - $36/hr
- Licensed Technicians $26/hr - $42/hr
