Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Java - Full Stack Sr. Developer for a Contract with a client in Culver City, CA. This role focuses on developing scalable full‑stack Java applications and modernizing enterprise systems.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable Java‑based applications using Spring Boot, JEE, Hibernate, and modern architectural patterns.
• Build and maintain RESTful services, integrate with legacy systems, and support both relational (Oracle PL/SQL) and No
  
  SQL databases such as Mongo
  
  DB or Mark Logic.
• Develop interactive front‑end components using Angular 2+, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to deliver responsive user experiences.
• Modernize and extend existing enterprise applications by implementing enhancements, resolving defects, and ensuring smooth deployment across environments.
• Utilize messaging systems (Active
  
  MQ, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka), CI/CD tools, Git/Maven, and Docker containers to support efficient development and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable design, maintain application performance, and contribute to cloud‑ready solutions leveraging AWS services.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional experience in full‑stack Java development, including backend and frontend frameworks.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST API development, and integration with both relational (Oracle) and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Proven experience with Angular/Type Script front‑end development, containerization using Docker, and cloud‑based application development with AWS knowledge.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
