Overview
Marina Distributing is currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver for our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Route. This is a non‑CDL position ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy driving and providing excellent customer service. Join our team to be a vital part of our distribution network by delivering quality service and fostering positive relationships with our customers.
Type: Full‑time
Pay: $20.00‑$24.00/hour + route performance incentives
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on assigned DSD routes.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customer locations while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Collect payments and provide receipts as needed.
- Complete all required delivery documentation and paperwork.
- Conduct basic inventory checks and report shortages or damages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Run a daily delivery route of 8‑10 stops using our route management app.
- Merchandise product at accounts: stock shelves and coolers, rotate stock, place POS materials.
- Build relationships with store owners and flag reorder opportunities to the sales team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive non‑CDL vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and handle physical tasks involved with delivery; able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic math and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends if necessary.
- Dependable, customer‑friendly, and comfortable using a smartphone app for deliveries.
