Tax Senior Associate

Job Description

• Review of individual and business tax returns (Form 1040, 1065, 1120‑S).
• Preparation of complex individual and business tax returns (Form 1040, 1065, 1120‑S).
• Assist with tax planning and tax research projects.
• Collaborate with the outsourced accounting services team for client accounting needs.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, questions, and planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to provide exceptional client service and ensure successful engagement delivery.
• Grow into a broader client relationship management role over time.

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with a preferred field of study in Accounting.
• CPA eligible.
• 2+ years of relevant work and industry experience.
• Software experience – CCH Axcess Tax, Microsoft Office 365.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• CPA candidates preferred.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments, and prioritize each assignment as necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.
