Service​/Support Technician in Cumberland

The most important characteristic of our support team is to help our customers work on what they do best while we handle all their technology needs in a trusting vendor/partner relationship. We put customers first and must be able to show and prove that we are knowledgeable, understand what their problems are, talk to them like we would want someone to talk to us, and provide a real solution without applying bandaids.

• Networking Knowledge with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
• Intermediate or Higher Server Operating System experience.
• Experience supporting PC Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows 7, 8, Server 2008, 2012).
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office.
• Ability to configure new desktops from the load of the OS to final user approval.

• Expect frequent interruptions, customers who want things done immediately, and sometimes stressful situations.
• Have the ability to prioritize in a very fast paste environment while keeping cool and collected.
• Have a lot of patience to work with some non-technical customers (over the phone or on-site) to troubleshoot and resolve computer related problems.
• Have tremendous attention to detail.
• Be able to work in a team atmosphere and stay well connected with other team members.
• Flexibility to work after normal business hours if needed.
• Have a very strong work ethic - on time, want to learn, and give it your all!

• You are Microsoft or Cisco Certified, but we also realize that certifications are often just paper!
• Have read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” (despite it’s strange name).

• Reliable transportation that you could use to get around to various clients in RI and MA (we pay for an auto allowance).
• Have a valid and clean US Driver’s License.
• Be a US.
