Savvy Staffing is hiring an experienced

Metal Fabricatorfor a well-established and expanding manufacturing company in Cumberland, RI.

Shift: 7:30AM - 4:00PM

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations, materials, and equipment for daily production.
• Operate and support fabrication equipment, including:
• Amada Press Brakes
• PEM Machines
• Spot Welders
• Assist with workflow coordination and support team productivity.
• Train and mentor new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production processes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure production goals are met.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 35+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery and performing fabrication tasks.
