Lions Rehab Center, a 101-bed skilled nursing facility in Cumberland, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an RN at Lions Rehab Center, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while working in a supportive and team-driven environment.

About

The Role

As a Registered Nurse at Lions Rehab Center, you'll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. You'll collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the dignity and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
  • Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the facility
  • Serves as charge nurses when assigned
  • Participates as required in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
  • Attends all required educational activities and meetings
  • Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity
Qualifications
  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or Multistate
  • CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we’ll train the right candidate
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care
