Trillium is seeking a Diesel Technician in Cumberland!
This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks experienced Diesel Technicians to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance, and handle documentation, while working with a supportive team committed to high standards.

Responsibilities include performing accurate troubleshooting and repair work on tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment, diagnosing mechanical issues by inspecting, testing, and operating equipment, completing component repairs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance services, handling equipment tear-down and reassembly as part of repair processes, using manuals, diagrams, and prior experience to plan and execute repair procedures, recording labor, parts, and service details in the repair order system, maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area, identifying missing tools, damaged equipment, or supply shortages and reporting or resolving when possible, communicating unsafe conditions or practices and recommending corrective steps, supporting other shop locations when staffing needs arise, and taking on additional tasks as operational needs change.
Schedule is 2nd Shift / Monday–Friday / 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM with overtime may be required during busy periods. Occasional travel may be needed based on shop demand. Pay rate is $27.78 – $32.78 per hour. Final rate determined by experience, skill level, and qualifications.
Additional earning potential includes shift differential opportunities, CDL premium pay, ASE certification bonuses, annual tool allowance, and access to paid online training resources.
Qualifications include two years of hands-on tractor/trailer repair experience OR a technical program in heavy-duty maintenance with at least one year of practical experience, valid driver's license and ability to pass required DOT physical and drug screening, solid understanding of diesel engine systems, heavy-duty components, and repair techniques, basic electrical knowledge preferred, ability to accurately track labor time and parts used on each job, strong communication skills for working with team members and internal customers, comfortable using diagnostic software and computer-based tools, must supply personal basic hand tools, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
