Job Overview

Full‑time Direct Support Professional position located in Allegany and Garrett County, Maryland, with an hourly rate of $16.00 (non‑negotiable) plus mileage reimbursement and a $20.00 per pay auto allowance. Average annual starting income is approximately $44,700. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

• Deliver customized services tailored to each individual's preferences and goals.
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching to foster independence.
• Encourage development of interpersonal skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; daily use of personal vehicle.
• Minimum $50,000 automobile liability insurance.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to build relationships with community resources.
