Customer Service Rep, Call Center / Support
Work in a high-volume, production-oriented, time-sensitive call center environment
Assist customers by phone with Prescription Records and status updates
Process prescription records in a data-entry system for fax, mail, and email requests
Handle requests from regulatory agencies, courts, law enforcement, attorneys, insurance agencies, patients, and other third parties
Maintain the strictest confidentiality when handling Protected Health Information
Comply with regulatory and subpoena demands under state and federal HIPAA/Privacy requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in a Call Center or Customer Service Environment requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- 1 to 2 years of experience working with sensitive information and/or HIPAA
- Must be able to work 2 days a week in the Cumberland, RI office
- Thursday office attendance is mandatory
- Ability to function well in a professional team environment
- Ability to handle inquiries, exercise good judgment, and apply critical thinking skills to solve problems
- Proficiency in data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to master other related department applications
Demonstrates proficiency in data entry and handling sensitive information while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Excels in a high-volume call center environment, providing accurate customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
