Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Greenville, RI
Hours: Full Time

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher with ASD experience for a Full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction for ASD Pupils.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Utilize common core and resource curriculum to address both academic and behavioral goals.
• Conduct 1:1 individualized sessions with students throughout the week.
• Coordinate with parents and teachers to schedule days, times, and meeting places at district schools.
• Travel between multiple schools as needed to meet with students.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and activities.

Educational and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Rhode Island Special Education teaching license.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of Special Education, preferably in a resource setting.
