Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Thought Spot Developer with 8‑10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Thought Spot development and administration, along with expertise in cloud platforms and modern cloud data warehouses.
Required Skills- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Thought Spot development and administration.
- Strong experience creating Worksheets, Live boards, Answer Boards, and Search‑driven Analytics.
- Strong understanding of Thought Spot data modeling, metadata management, and security.
- Experience integrating Thought Spot with cloud data platforms.
- Experience with Thought Spot performance tuning and query optimization.
- Ability to develop reusable analytics frameworks and best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
- AWS
- Azure
- GCP
- Experience working with cloud‑native data warehouses/data platforms such as:
- Snowflake
- Big Query
- Amazon Redshift
- Azure Synapse
- Databricks
- Strong understanding of cloud‑based data engineering and analytics architectures.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, transformation, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
- Experience working with large‑scale analytical datasets.
- Design and develop enterprise analytics solutions using Thought Spot.
- Create and maintain Worksheets, Live boards, Answer Boards, and Thought Spot data models.
- Integrate Thought Spot with cloud data warehouses and data lakes.
- Gather analytics and reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of Thought Spot solutions.
- Establish reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for analytics delivery.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
- Participate in architecture and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and business teams.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
