Director of Nursing (DNS) Needed for a Skilled Nursing & Rehab Facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island area!
Typical Schedule:Day shifts, Monday - Friday,with a rotating on-call requirement with other nursing leadership

- Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of thenursingdepartment
- Performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team
- Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care
- Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in RI
- Provide oversight and direction to clinical team
- Make rounds with physicians, as necessary
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Three (3) years or more years of experience as a manager/Director of Nursing in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Primary series of COVID vaccination is required
Range: $120k- 200k / per year
