Overview
Charter Contracting Company is hiring a Project Foreman for multiple Rhode Island projects. The company is a Boston‑based non‑union Civil/Environmental Remediation Contractor with jobsites throughout all of New England.
Qualifications- 10+ years construction experience;
Site Work and/or Environmental Remediation is preferred - Demonstrate and Maintain our core value of Health and Safety at all times
- Provide general site management and leadership for all onsite Craft Personnel
- Experience utilizing GPS equipment is a plus
- Possession of a valid RI hoisting license is a plus
- Possession of a valid MA hoisting license with 1C/2A designation is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret plans and construction drawings
- OSHA 10 Hour certification
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred
- Must have a license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within New England is a plus
The employee must be in good physical condition and endurance as the job regularly requires pushing, pulling and lifting more than 50 lbs. The worker may be required to work aloft, climb ladders, use staging/scaffolding and other aerial equipment. Long hours on your feet and working in various conditions (snow, rain, cold, heat) are expected. Work may be performed above head and in tight quarters.
CompensationHourly wage of $35–$48, negotiated based on experience. Overtime hours may be available.
