Electrician; Commercial​/Retail

38-hour standard working week. On-call rota (approximately 1 week in every 8 weeks).

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing team working across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

This role involves working across a variety of projects including retail installations, commercial fit-outs, electrical maintenance, testing, and fault finding.

This is a field-based position offering paid door-to-door travel, regular overtime opportunities, and a company vehicle. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with modern electrical systems including EV charging infrastructure.

• Carry out electrical installations in retail and commercial environments
• Electrical work on commercial fit‑outs and refurbishment projects
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance
• Inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  
  Installation and maintenance of EV charging equipment where required
• Ensure work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
• Complete job reports and certification accurately
• Liaise with clients, site managers, and internal teams when required
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
• City & Guilds 2922-34 Level 3 Award
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong fault‑finding ability
• Electric Vehicle Charging Qualification (City & Guilds 2921)
• £40,000 – £45,000 salary depending on experience
• Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
