Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and certified Electrician to join our team successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with UK standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and health & safety standards
- Work on smart home, security, and automation system installations (as needed)
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors
- Strong knowledge of UK electrical systems and regulations (BS 7671)
- Proficiency with tools such as multi meters, wire strippers, and conduit benders
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and building plans
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification (BS 7671) – Mandatory
- ECS or CSCS Card – Preferred
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation (desirable)
- Minimum 0–5 years of experience as a qualified electrician
- Experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with smart systems and automation (advantageous)
