We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and compassionate female carer to support a young mother and her active toddler in their home. The ideal candidate will provide a combination of personal care, light household duties, and childcare support, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and organised home environment. This is a fulfilling role for someone who enjoys multitasking, engaging with young children, and making a positive difference in a family’s daily life.

- Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care for Mother:

· Assist with morning and evening routines as needed.

· Provide respectful and discreet support with mobility and personal tasks.

· Encourage and enable the mother’s involvement in childcare and home activities.
2. Toddler Care and Early Learning:

· Supervise, engage, and play with the toddler throughout the day.

· Assist with nappy changing, toilet training, and mealtime feeding.

· Support early learning through age-appropriate educational activities, reading, and creative play.

· Ensure a safe and stimulating environment.
3. Household Management:

· Prepare nutritious, simple meals for the mother and toddler.

· Light housework including tidying, laundry, and cleaning kitchen and common areas.

· Organise toys, children’s items, and care-related supplies.
4. Family Support:

· Work collaboratively with the mother to plan daily routines.

· Provide occasional accompaniment on outings or appointments if required.

· Foster a happy, calm, and supportive atmosphere in the home.

- Candidate Requirements:

· Female applicants only – due to the personal care needs of the mother.

· Essential:
Proven experience in a caregiving role, preferably with wheelchair users or individuals with mobility restrictions.

· Essential:
Previous experience working with toddlers or young children.

· Energetic, patient, and positive – able to keep up with the demands of a toddler and household tasks.

· Organised and proactive – able to multitask and manage time effectively.

· Reliable, punctual, and discreet – respectful of family privacy and routines.

· Clean DBS check and excellent references from previous care roles.

· Non-smoker preferred.

1. I will carry out a 20mins video interview to assess communication skills, personality & go through previous experience.

2. The client will carry out their own face to face interview (paid) at their home & induction which lasts for 3 hours and paid for to assess if the candidate is a good match
