Salary: £43,160 per annum OTE (Basic £36,720 + £2,900 annual bonus OTE + Overtime)

Hours:

42.5 hours per week, day shifts only
Overtime:
Available as required and paid at time and a half

About the Role

Our client is a leading vehicle rental specialist operating across the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Their workshops maintain and repair their own diverse fleet, which includes around 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars—offering an excellent variety of work.

They are now seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their Penrith site. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, roadworthy, and legally compliant for customer hire.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), or

* A Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years of experience as a technician or mechanic

* A strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Training and Development

Our client offers outstanding IMI-accredited training through their in-house training department. You will have access to professional development in areas such as:

Level 2 technicians will receive a tailored training plan to support upskilling to Level 3 and beyond.
