Job DescriptionThe Dispatch/Scheduler manages incoming calls and front-desk reception while coordinating the dispatch of crews to jobsites, providing professional customer service and administrative support.
Primary Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming calls and greet visitors professionally.
- Dispatch and coordinate crews and resources to jobsites.
- Capture and enter job and customer information into the system.
- Schedule appointments and maintain crew calendars.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the office.
- Communicate with customers, crews, and adjusters as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Previous receptionist, dispatch, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and phone systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to work in person 5 days per week. Available for occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and able to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
- Primarily office-based work in a climate-controlled environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Repetitive motions including keyboarding and use of a mouse.
- Frequent talking and hearing for phone and in-person communication.
- Close visual acuity for reading documents and viewing computer screens.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, and filing.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds (files, supplies, or equipment).
- Ability to open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a step stool as needed.
- Full
- Time, up to 40 hours per week. - Flexibility for weekends shifts
$21-$24 / hour, pending experience.
