This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Manager I based in Cumming, GA.
- Project Manager I at SLL Services plays a key role in the successful delivery of commercial electrical projects for our clients. This position is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from pre-construction through closeout, with an emphasis on field coordination, subcontractor management, and operational efficiency.
- Working closely with field leadership, subcontractors, general contractors, internal operations teams, and vendor partners, the Project Manager I helps ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with SLL’s quality, safety, and customer service standards. This role supports project planning, scheduling, field oversight, documentation, and client communication while reinforcing SLL’s commitment to reliability, safety, and long-term client relationships.
- Assist in planning and managing commercial electrical projects from kickoff through completion
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower planning, and material procurement
- Track project budgets, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Serve as a communication link between field crews, subcontractors, vendors, GCs, and internal teams
- Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate with general contractors and inspectors
- Monitor project progress and help resolve field issues as they arise
- Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and contract requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or electrical contracting
- Understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite operation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in Excel
- Experience specifically in the commercial electrical field; detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working between the office and the field
- Proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly and professionally
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to learn and grow into larger project responsibilities
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing processes
- Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Electrical license or field experience (apprentice/journeyman) is a plus
