Construction Laborer

MV WATS LLC – Cumming, Georgia

Status: Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $18–$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 pm

We're looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who are ready to build a career in the construction industry. As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside an experienced team on a variety of construction projects, helping prepare job sites, perform general labor, and support skilled trades throughout each phase of construction.

• Perform general labor duties on active construction sites.
• Assist with preparing and cleaning job sites before, during, and after construction activities.
• Support concrete and foundation work, including footing preparation and rebar installation.
• Assist with excavation and grading activities.
• Safely operate hand tools and construction equipment as assigned.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

• Has at least 7 months to 1 year of experience working on a construction site.
• Takes initiative and is willing to carry their share of the workload.
• Is observant, learns quickly, and understands the sequence of construction activities.
• Is motivated, ambitious, and eager to develop new skills.
• Works well independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Candidates who possess the following experience will stand out:

• Experience pouring concrete footings.
• Experience tying rebar.
• Knowledge of footing layout.
• Experience operating a mini excavator efficiently.
• Familiarity with setting grades on construction projects.

• Minimum of 7 months to 1 year of construction experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
