We're looking for an experienced and motivated Construction Foreman to lead crews, oversee daily field operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving problems in the field, and leading by example.
You’ll serve as the primary point of coordination between the job site, contractors, and project stakeholders while helping maintain quality, productivity, and safety throughout every phase of construction.
Starting Pay: $35–$40 per hour
Schedule: Flexible | Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (Part-Time with potential to transition to Full-Time)
Status: Non-Exempt
- Supervise and lead construction crews on active job sites.
- Coordinate daily work activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure work is completed according to project requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor job site safety and ensure OSHA regulations are followed.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project progress.
- Negotiate pricing and assist with project purchasing when needed.
- Maintain positive working relationships with contractors, vendors, and clients.
Travel to project sites as needed.
- Has proven leadership experience in commercial or residential construction.
- Takes initiative and leads by example.
- Is proactive, dependable, and able to carry their own weight while motivating others.
- Demonstrates strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Communicates effectively with crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and adapts to changing priorities.
- Industry experience preferred.
- OSHA Certification.
- Previous experience supervising construction projects or field crews.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and job site coordination.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
Candidates with the following experience will stand out:
- Experience reading Shop Drawings.
- Experience maintaining project schedules and preventing delays.
- Experience laying out foundations, CMU walls, or installing brick/stone veneer.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience operating a mini excavator or skid steer.
- Willingness to travel to projects in other states.
Ability to provide or effectively utilize a vehicle, laptop, tablet, and basic construction tools.
- Competitive pay of $35–$40 per hour
