With an established reputation for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction, the company continues to expand its project portfolio and is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join their growing team.

The Commercial Roofing Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial roofing projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications. This individual will provide hands‑on leadership to field crews and subcontractors while coordinating with Project Managers, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Project Types

Commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily roofing projects, including reroofs, new construction, and roof restoration involving TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, and coating systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise field crews and subcontractors on commercial roofing projects.
  • Oversee daily jobsite operations, including manpower, materials, equipment, and workflow.
  • Coordinate project sequencing and ensure work stays on schedule.
  • Ensure roofing installations meet project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and other trades on active jobsites.
  • Conduct daily and weekly jobsite meetings and communicate project updates with Project Managers and leadership.
  • Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
  • Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Track productivity, identify field challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Perform quality control inspections throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate punch list completion, warranty requirements, and final project closeout.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower tracking, material usage, and other field documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Train, mentor, and develop field personnel while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing, preferably in a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, BUR, and coatings.
  • Proven experience leading commercial roofing crews and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing and jobsite operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commercial construction safety practices.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S
Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience + performance bonuses + company vehicle or allowance + full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and holidays).
