Forsyth County Environmental Health Department is seeking a Customer Service Representative . As a Customer Service Representative with Forsyth County Environmental Health Department at the Georgia Department of Public Health – District 2, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

• 40-hour work week (Monday — Friday)
• 13 paid holidays/yr.
• 3 weeks each of annual & sick leave/yr.

• Under direct supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.

• Under general supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.
• May resolve complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

• Answer phones for the Environmental Health department
• Maintain client accounts & records
• Accepts payment for services
• Will assist EHS staff with various correspondence & gather all information that is necessary to meet EH program procedures & expedite the permitting process.

Customer Service Representative 1 High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.
